The Fiona Files

Seristan was a mess two thousand years ago when it was first found. It was scattered with mountains, forests, small bodies of water that are rarely found and many regions unnamed. Seristan was unique, along with it's sister planet. WhyWhy? Because of it's shape.

Seristan was known for it's 'sun' being in the middle of it. It was called Aura. Aura is a big ball of light that was said to be the princess long before time itself had been discovered.

It emits a soft purple light over the entirety of the planet. Well, on the ones that are inwards at least. It was also said that a lucky soul worthy enough of being chosen could get a chance of meeting the princess and have their deepest desires come true. Whether it be good or bad. But, it doesn't happen except every ten thousand years. (And in the year of my main story I'll be writing about is set two years before the said time)

Children, teens, adults, and elders have the chance of altering their age by a year whenever Aura turns inside out every decade.

When children get hit by the light, they legally age up by a year. When people above the age of twenty get hit, they legally minus a year of their age.

The prophecy has foretold that the Aura changes its appearance every decade as it symbolizes the day where the princess has gone through grief and sorrow. Many has speculated that when such awful feelings had happened to the princess the first and last time, the feeling had been so strong that it changed her. The ancients foretold that it caused great plague to her people and whoever was there at the time of her reign. Wiping out the entire existence of the universe. Seeing as she was the only one left, she gave half of her life to the last remaining star and with her last of power, changed herself to become the ball of light that supplies light to Seristan she is today.
